We have noticed that HMRC are beginning a new campaign to try to collect more information from taxpayers by issuing letters to non-doms who have previously claimed the remittance basis. We have included an example of these letters below, but suffice to say that if you do receive anything like this, it is always best to get in touch with a tax adviser who has expertise in all things offshore and international.
