What can I expect at a tax consultation with Mark Davies & Associates?
At your first meeting, we will offer to look at your unique set of circumstances, such as where you are domiciled or tax resident. We will talk about what types of income you have received and in which country you received them. Most importantly, we will find out how your future plans may impact your tax planning.
By building up a picture of your financial affairs we can guide you through your tax strategy and reporting obligations in a way which results in the best outcome for you and your family.
What happens next?
We will agree a fee and time-frame in order to deliver your tailored tax advice. This will include practical steps to make sure that you pay the right amount of tax and meet your HMRC reporting obligations. There may be personal allowances, double tax treaties and/or tax reliefs available under UK tax law and a range of tax planning tools to lessen your tax burden.

How do we charge you?
Like most professions Mark Davies & Associates Ltd charge fees in accordance with the seniority of the consultant and the time spent. Our charge out rates range from £66 to £480 exclusive of VAT.
If you would like to contact us we offer a 30 minute telephone consultation at no obligation.
If you would like to consult us in person we offer a 60 minute consultation, the following terms and conditions apply. Prior to arranging the consultation we need to collect your proof of identity (passport or driver’s licence), and your proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, tax statement or similar dated within the last 3 months). You may also need to supply evidence in support of your source of wealth (e.g. payslip). In addition, we ask that you pay a non-refundable deposit of £500. Should you decide to instruct us to do further work for you within 3 months of the initial consultation the deposit is applied against this work. So in effect the initial consultation is free.
